07 Pointless

We found Violet, we helped her through the Labyrinth and what did it get us? Nothing. What a waste of time.

We got to the chamber with the Prize in it and it turns out the guardian could just take the Prize for himself.

Let me go on record as saying that I hate angels.

All they do is cause problems. First the politics from the IGT going away and now they steal what we work hard to claim as our own.

This is infuriating.

06 Into the Labyrinth

We have done it. We managed to enter the Labyrinth of the Night by Projecting ourselves into the Dark Realm.

Jade and I made it through the Crucible and Stage in just a few nights and are approaching the Morgue. I am a skilled Theurge and she knows enough to get by so this isn't a challenge. We should be at the Abyss within another day or so.

But for now we rest. And get bothered by more politics. I really have no interest in all this stuff to do with the new government.

05 Politics

It seems that factions are rising up. Due to family obligations, my sister and I have joined the Dark Flag. They are a Necrotheruge group and our father is a prominent member. He has always been a scholar of the darker arts of Theurgy and has committed our whole family to the cause.

Frankly, I can't be bothered with politics which is why I don't even go near the Unaware world, preferring to live in the country with my sister. If it wasn't for her and my previous work I'd be completely cut off from the world, as I'd like it. The internet is enough for me.

Going to try Astral Projection in a few days.

04 Work and angels

Well, there is no more IGT. I'm technically unemployed which allows me to focus on my studies. I have a lot of money saved up and my sister brews potions for a living so we can still live.

It turns out Fox was an angel all along and then we lost the head of the IGT We also lost a lot of people to the hands of a couple of Archangels. It seems that the Aware population that actually had world-changing power is all dead now. We Aware no longer have a government. This is going to lead to... Politics.

That won't be good for the community. Can't wait for half my Trinkets and Relics to be outlawed.

I also have a new appreciation for the stories about how powerful angels are. And Revenants are odd to look at. They have been drawn very accurately in the books but reveal themselves so very little that it's weird to see.

Anyway, I'll be updating more often now that I'm not tied up with work or deep into my own studies. Might take my sister out and get her something pretty, though.

03 Late night - Labyrinth: The Prize

I have been working a lot recently. The IGT is going mad and overworking all the Theurges in south England. Not sure how long I will be able to go before I just fall asleep on the job.

Jade normally helps me but she is so tired she went to bed earlier.

Anyway, what follows is a little about the Labyrinth of the Night as taken from the Potentia Lux.

---

Not much is known about the Prize at the end of the Labyrinth, only that those who are pure of intent may receive it. The Labyrinth is designed to keep those who would use its power for evil away.

It is a common theory that the Prize is a Relic of some sort. For a powerful Theurge, for that is what created the Labyrinth, to be afraid of the Relic and lock it away, it must be incredibly powerful. Another theory is that the Prize is some sort of Immortal beast, but since nothing like that is known, it is not a commonly held opinion.

02 Denizen: Dusk

These creatures are the second most common form of Denizen and possibly the most ferocious and deadly. Their heads have been likened to the Gentleman's in that they have no face. They are pale white and have long flexible limbs. It is likely that they are not supported by bones at all, though I have not had the chance to dissect one to find out.

It is said that these creatures are numerous in the Labyrinth of the Night. It is possible that they come from there though I have no proof of this and have no idea how they breed seeing as they have no obvious reproductive organs. Unlike Wights, they are not created from the suffering of us in the Material Realm.

They are capable of scaling walls and Shadow Jumping. This is strange as many Therugic creatures do not have the ability to travel long distances using Theurgy rather than physical means, except Drakes.

Dusks are silent creatures, moving without any sound at all. This is all to hide their most devastating ability. A mouth appears, the lips seemingly trying to melt closed, and it lets out a scream so loud that it can cause damage to your very Soul.

---

There have been reported cases of Dusks breaking through into the Material Realm. These cases have all been from inexperienced Luxtheurges creating their first portals to the Dark Realm. It is recommended that the Theurge keep protection on hand for this, such as a Hunter or another Theurge. It is this reason that Luxtheurgy has been banned by the IGT.

01 Dark Realm - Denizen: Wight

The Dark Realm is a darker and twisted reflection of the Material Realm, our world. Unlike the Spectral Realm, the world of Mist and the dead, the Dark Realm has natural inhabitants. These creatures are called Denizens collectively and I use the world "natural" very loosely.

Denizens are twisted and deformed versions of creatures from the Material Realm and often have Theurgic abilities.

It takes strong Luxtheurgy to reach the Dark Realm and it is not recommended for those who are inexperienced Hunters or Theurges. [Luxtheurgy is incredibly rare as very few copies of Potentia Lux exists because it is banned by the IGT. We were lucky to find this copy. No trainers really exist or at least won't take on Apprentices openly.]

---

The most common form of Denizen is known as the Wight. This creature hides its face until its unwitting victim approaches and then it turns and lunges. Its face is horribly distorted, its mouth filled with razor sharp teeth and its eyes bulging and completely black.

Wights have the ability to glimpse into the Material Realm and also a small ability to camouflage themselves. They use this to adjust their skin and hair colours to match the most common of the humans in that area.

Despite their ability to glimpse into the Material Realm they have no ability to interact with it. Most legitimate Unaware people who claim to see Ghosts most likely have seen a Wight as it used this ability, but only if they have Theurgic blood. Ghosts cannot be seen outside of the Spectral Realm, so this is why Wights are the most likely option.

---

[Theurgic blood is uncommon in the Unaware populace. It springs up randomly in people who are descended from actual Theurges. That Violet girl most likely has Theurgic blood.]

[Being raised Aware, my brother and I have been able to activate our Theurgic blood from an early age, just like any other Aware person. My brother is a practising Theurge but I have only a passing knowledge of Ignis and Aer. Enough to get by. But I am a Trinket collector which is why we were at the Market when we found the book.]

00 Introduction

My name is Indigo Falcus. I am 24 years old and have a twin sister named Jade.

This is just a little introduction to say hello.

You see, we were browsing a Market looking at some Trinkets when we found a strange book. It had just been sold to the stall by a girl with strange eyes who said "My friend no longer needs it. He is done studying its contents." I'm curious as to what kind of Theurgy she used to get her eye-whites purple while retaining such a beautiful green iris, but I didn't get the chance to ask her.

We had a quick look through and sure enough, there were some interesting things in there. This is just going to be us talking about what we found in that book, as well as a few other things because we had to buy it. There was no way such an interesting person could be interested in the mundane.

It contained what it called Luxtheurgy. Light and Darkness. Very interesting indeed.
